Kérastase just launched their new line named Premiere. Premiere is a line that focuses on decalcifying and repairing hair! It was created with a combination of glycine and citric acid that will remove calcium build up on your hair and return it to it’s natural, healthy state. There are 6 different products in this line. The idea is that you can use them in tandem to really help restore your hair.
The first product is in the Premiere line is the pre-shampoo and it is essential to haircare.
Apply the pre-shampoo to your hair and leave it in for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes have passed, don’t rinse it out. What you are going to do next is layer the shampoo on top of the pre-shampoo. The shampoo in the Premiere line is also another essential product. The pre-shampoo & the shampoo will them work in tandem. After waiting another few minutes, then you can rinse your hair.
From here, you can then apply either the conditioner or the mask. Consult with your stylist about which options is best for your hair type. We always recommend that with any conditioner or mask, you let it sit in your hair for a few minutes to really let it permeate the hair shaft. After a few minutes have passed, you can then rinse out the conditioner/mask.
The final step in the Premiere line is the aftercare. Kérastase has the option of a hair serum or a hair oil. You can use either/or OR if you would like, you can use both. It depends both on your hair texture and how much repair your hair needs.

In Salon Treatment Options
We have several different treatments that you can have done in the salon that will help restore moisture and nutrition to your scalp and hair. Kérastase offers two different treatments that would potentially be beneficial: the Fusio-Dose treatment and the Premiere treatment. The Fusio-Dose treatment is a two part treatment that tackles a variety of issues from dry hair to dull hair. The beautiful part of Fusio-Dose treatments is that they are highly customizable to the individual. The Premiere treatment is a four step treatment that helps repair damaged hair.
L’Oréal Professionnel also offers an in salon treatment known as the Molecular Repair treatment. The Molecular Repair treatment helps repair the molecular structure of the hair shaft. It is a four part treatment system. It can repair up to two years of damage to your hair.
If your primary concern is your scalp, the scalp facial by Surface Awaken maybe the perfect treatment system for you. This scalp facial is a five step in salon treatment that will help rejuvenate your scalp and help you feel brand new. Which treatment is best for you? Out of Salon Treatment Options
If you are looking more for at home haircare, we do have several take home products that will help moisturize your scalp and hair.
Kérastase’s Nutritive line is perfect for dry scalps AND dry hair. It has everything from shampoo to serums. One of our favorite parts of the Nutritive line is that they offer options for all hair types. Too often people have to sacrifice their body and volume in favor of moisture. That is not the case with the Nutritive. Kérastase designed a lighter shampoo and a lighter leave conditioning spray for people who do not want their hair weighed down. For individuals that are not concerned about the weight of the products, Kérastase offers a more intensely moisturizing version of the Nutritive line.
Shu Uemura Art of Hair has an intensely moisturizing line known as Urban Moisture. It has moringa oil & red algae in it to help heal and protect dry hair.
If you are looking for an option from L’Oréal Professionnel, the Absolut Repair line might be the one for you. Infused with gold quinoa and protein, it is a lightweight option that restructures your hair without weighing it down.

“When I was 12 years old, I decided to color my hair, I grabbed a box of red hair color thinking if I just enhanced my red hair my parents wouldn’t know. They could definitely tell seeing as it came out firetruck red and I loved it! It made me feel empowered to be able to manipulate my appearance. That day I decided that I wanted to help others feel that way and wanted to become a hairstylist. When I was 15, I took steps at dipping my toes into the industry doing some front desk work at the salon my mom was going to and then moved into interning at the local cosmetology school which I later attended and graduated from. I found my salon home straight out of cosmetology school here at Zeba Hair Salon.”
